Togeo (“we”, “us” or “our”) provides private location sharing and coordination tools for trusted groups. This policy applies when you use Togeo, visit togeo.app or contact our team.
If a store listing identifies a specific developer entity, that entity operates Togeo for the purposes described here.

Information we handle
We handle information you provide, information created while using Togeo and limited device information needed to deliver the service.
- Account and profile: email address, name, avatar, user code and temporary status.
- Group activity: memberships, invitations, group settings and sharing preferences.
- Content: messages, read state, uploaded media, saved places and support requests.
- Device context: push token, platform, online presence and battery observations when the feature is active.
Precise and background location
Togeo accesses precise location only after permission is granted and when needed for a feature you choose, such as group sharing, a snapshot link or a time-limited live link.
Background location may be used while an active real-time sharing session requires updates. Togeo explains this before requesting ongoing access. Denying permission does not silently enable another sharing mode.
- Snapshot links keep the captured point fixed.
- Live links stop updating when their duration expires or they are revoked.
- We do not sell precise location or use it for targeted advertising.
How we use information
We use information to operate groups, show authorized location updates, deliver messages and notifications, secure accounts, prevent abuse, answer support requests and improve reliability.
We do not use private group content or precise location to build advertising profiles.

Retention and deletion
We retain account and service data while your account is active and as needed to provide the features you use. Expiring shares stop revealing new location after expiration or revocation.
You can request account deletion through the Contact page. We delete or de-identify associated data unless limited retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or legal obligations. Backup deletion may take additional time.

Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including access controls, expiring credentials and private opaque sharing links. No service can guarantee absolute security, so keep invitation codes and private links within the audience you intend.

Your choices and rights
You can turn location sharing off per group, end live shares, revoke links, leave groups, change permissions in device settings and update profile information in Togeo.
Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of personal information. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.

Children
Togeo is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, that requirement applies. Contact us if you believe a child provided information without appropriate authorization.

Child safety standards and CSAE prevention
Togeo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, or any content or conduct that exploits or endangers children.
Users can report a message or other safety concern in the app. Reports are reviewed promptly; where appropriate, Togeo may remove content, restrict or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information, and report suspected CSAM or CSAE to the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
- Use in-app reporting to flag suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or another child-safety concern.
- For urgent child-safety concerns or questions about these standards, contact our designated child-safety point of contact at support@togeo.app.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities and take proportionate steps to protect our users and service.
International processing
Togeo may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use safeguards intended to protect information during international transfers.
